The NABAS 2025 Awards are FREE to enter for both members and non-members and it doesn’t matter if you have been working with balloons for months or years – all levels of ability are welcome to enter!

1. Best Backdrop Design
Create a stunning, photo-worthy backdrop! This category focuses on backdrops that inspire guests to snap a picture and leave a lasting impression. The backdrop must include a majority proportion of balloons and may include props as well.

2. Best Table Centrepiece Design
Design a beautiful table centrepiece that combines balloons and creative embellishments, without obstructing sight lines. The table centrepiece should use a majority proportion of balloons.

3. Best Gift Design
Delight your recipient with a unique and thoughtful gift design, featuring balloons and added special touches. The gift design should use a majority proportion of balloons.

4. Designer of the Year
This title is awarded to the designer who submits entries in categories 1, 2 and 3 and stands out as the top talent.

5. Wholesaler of the Year
Voted by NABAS members, this award recognises the wholesaler delivering exceptional products and services to the industry.

How to Enter
Categories 1-3
- Entries are to be made via the dedicated area on the NABAS website when the awards open.
- Submit up to 3 high-resolution photos of one design per category you are entering.
- Include your name, contact details and the category entered.
- Grant permission to share your images on NABAS social media (with photo credit).
- All categories are FREE to enter – no fees involved!
- Winners will be announced live at the PIE UK 2025 Gala Dinner, held during our Masquerade-themed celebration on Sunday 27th April 2025.
You can enter any combination of categories 1-3, but to qualify for the prestigious Designer of the Year, you must submit entries in all three categories. No specific themes are required for your designs, so let your creativity shine!
Rules to Remember:
- One entry per person per category.
- You must have created the designs in the submitted photos.
- By entering, you grant permission to NABAS to share your designs on social media and in promotional marketing.
- Voucher prizes exclude VAT and any delivery charges.
How to Vote – Wholesaler of the Year
- When voting opens online via the NABAS website, members are encouraged to vote. Members will need to include their membership number or business name, the wholesaler they want to nominate, reasons why they should win, and permission for their comments to be shared with the wholesaler (who may use these for their own social media).
The wholesaler with the most votes when the award entries close will win the award.
Rules to Remember:
- One vote per member.
- The ‘Wholesaler of the Year’ Award will be open to wholesalers who are NABAS members as of 31st December 2024.
