NABAS sponsoring the British Balloon Bash 2025

The National Association of Balloon Artists and Suppliers (NABAS) proudly announces its sponsorship of the highly anticipated British Balloon Bash in 2025, formerly known as the Blackpool Balloon Bash. This exciting event will take place from February 27th to March 2nd at the Imperial Hotel in Blackpool.

The Blackpool Balloon Bash was started in 2014 by Sara Burns & Anne Ashworth as fun-filled event that brought together Balloon Twisters from around the world! The Bash was so popular that it continued to grow year on year and in 2018 it was moved to a larger venue – The Doric Hotel.

Dan Jefferson & Frank Sweeney took over the running of the Bash and they continued bringing in the world’s best Balloon Twisters as instructors for the delegates and they grew the Event so much that yet again it was moved to another larger venue – The Imperial Hotel.

2024 saw the amazing 10th Anniversary of the Blackpool Balloon Bash and it was not an Event to be missed, with incredible instructors, balloon artists from around the world, the signature competitions (5 Min Comp, 10 Min Comp & Iron Man Comp) and spectacular room décor designed by our very own NABAS Instructor Fiona Eagle.

2024 was Dan & Franks’ last year with the Blackpool Balloon Bash and from all of us here at NABAS we would like to extend our thanks for all of the years of support which they have given to us and we are wishing them all the best for the future.

For 2025 a new Team has taken the responsibility for organising this amazing Event and the name has been changed to The British Balloon Bash.
2025 promises to be a spectacular gathering of balloon artists, suppliers, and enthusiasts from across the world, showcasing the latest trends and innovations in the balloon twisting industry. With an amazing line-up of training, and networking opportunities, attendees can expect an unforgettable experience celebrating the artistry and creativity of balloon décor.

As the leading association for balloon artists and suppliers, NABAS is thrilled to support this Event again in 2025.
