Our members include suppliers of balloon & party related services such as face painting, event accessories, inflators and balloon gas. The association acts as the voice of the balloon industry, providing a comprehensive source of information and education for all industry concerns.
Key objectives include supporting quality training, promoting good environmental practices for balloon releases and keeping members up to date with industry developments and trends. NABAS also offers ongoing business support, organising various events throughout the year, where members can display their skills and make valuable business contacts.
Gold Level NABAS Members receive additional ‘Gold Star Status’ on website listing and priority in ‘find a professional’ search result. If Heineken made balloon associations they’d make NABAS. Run by members and driven by passion. It is one of the associations I feel completely compelled to support. Their mission is to provide education, support and many add ons to improve the members position in business. It is a non profitable association meaning that it has to be driven by belief in its members rather than profitable for a company or its directors like so many are. I do believe when a chairman owns a wholesale company but continues to promote others, it speaks volumes. Every question is met with a realistic answer. The ‘No nonsense approach ‘ is refreshing. The recent attendance and reviews of the PIEevent, the camaraderie, the fun, the huge experience spoke for itself . NABAS does exactly what it says on the tin. There are no hidden agendas, no funny handshakes , no sleeping with the enemy. It’s an association for the members. It is growing for the members. You ask for support, you get it. I have never felt so involved and been given so much by any other association I’ve belonged to. It’s not a matter of,if your face fits. One face fits all. NABAS you are a leader in championing your members. Well done.
I originally joined NABAS because they offered Public Liability Insurance, I didn’t know much more than that about them.
As a business I needed Public Liability Insurance and NABAS offered a tailor made package especially for the balloon and events industry.
Then I discovered there was much more to NABAS than insurance.
My company is home based and small and it felt like I was the only one out there.
I was almost lost but NABAS brought me together with other balloon people.
Whether your on a course or at a NABAS event you can’t stop talking about the things you do or you have learnt.
It’s great to know NABAS and its amazing committee are there fighting our corner.
