NABAS Announces PIEUK22 Instructor

We are thrilled to announce that we will be joined by the inspirational Tope Abulude.

Tope is a multi-award-winning Certified Balloon Artist and will join us in Coventry to share his tips, tricks and experience to help inspire delegates.

Tope’s career in balloon artistry spans three decades, after his initial degree in Architecture took a back seat as he was inspired when attending the European Balloon Symposium in 1996.

His creative skills and prestige in the industry are only matched by his experience and his reputation as a tutor, teaching a wide range of décor skills from the Qualatex fundamentals courses through to advanced classes.  His teaching experience has taken him around the world, imparting his skills and knowledge in the US, Europe, Africa, South America, Australia, and Thailand.

Tope’s reputation as a balloon artist has seen his work feature in multiple industry magazines including Balloon Images, Balloon Ideas, Balloon Magic, Balloon and Parties, Party times (UK), and various national and local newspapers.

His ambition and skill has also enabled him to lead in world renowned large projects including

the Circus-themed costume party at the World Balloon Convention 2012 in Dallas, the Medieval-themed costume party at the 2003 International Balloon Arts Convention (IBAC)in Chicago, and the 2007 Hollywood themed final night party and 2008 International Balloon Games, both in Las Vegas, USA. He also designed the centrepieces for the “Fire and Ice” party at the 2014 World Balloon Convention in Denver, USA.

Tope joins a growing programme of reputable and world-renowned balloon artists and instructors at PIEUK22. We expect tickets to sell fast, and interest in the event has surpassed every other year, so please register early to avoid disappointment. The event from 15th October – 17th October 2022, at the Hilton Double Tree, Coventry, will include a big event décor build along with a number of large scale sculptures, drinks reception and a gala dinner.
