NABAS launches dedicated skills hub to support members

The Balloon and Party Professionals Association (NABAS) has created a bespoke skills hub to support members with the resources needed to ensure business continuity in the immediate future and for the longer term.

The skills hub is tailored to meet a range of business areas that may require additional development and reinforcement as we continue to experience challenging circumstances, helping businesses to shoulder the current climate and prepare for sustained recovery.

The skills hub is available to all members as an incredible benefit, saving them additional expenditure on legal, training and other digital resources as part of their NABAS membership.

Members will be able to access a range of vital templates and documents including: Terms and Conditions, contracts, website and cookie policy templates for use in their own businesses. In addition, members can access free guides covering small business taxes, getting started with card payments, intellectual property and finding the right funding for their business.

Once accessed, members can download and keep these guides within their dedicated NABAS members’ area, for as long as they need them. The hub will be regularly updated in accordance with the latest changes in legislation and guidance and is developed in collaboration with business law professionals to ensure watertight compliance, legal advice and contractual templates.

The resources range from customisable templates through to advice and support on running family businesses, handling disagreements, HR and health and safety, consumer rights, and more, with all key aspects of business maintenance and development covered.

George Oustayiannis, NABAS Chairman said: “We are excited to share this resource with our members. We have carefully planned and developed the skills hub to save our members substantial costs in business consultancy and help them to be incredibly successful.”

NABAS are the only association in the industry run by members, for members, and as such they are passionate about ensuring each and every one of their members has access to the most up to date resources, both for the good of their businesses and the industry as a whole.

Members can expect a number of initiatives to ‘raise the bar’ and install consumer confidence in the coming months.
